Way back in the day of many road trip art shows around the country, people would drive out of their way to come see me  - not to buy art, mind you - but to bring me pictures of their mother, mother-in-law, cousin, or whatever, because they looked like one of my characters.  And, honestly, they were usually right.  This is one of those sweet ladies who let her daughter-in-law bring me her picture and then gave me permission to paint away.   She was an excellent model!
