Years ago, I was privileged to show at one of the early art shows in Ritzville, Washington.  Not only was the art show a great success, but the friendly, down to earth people and the charm and history of the community left a lasting impression on me.  Over the years, I've painted several images of the historic downtown area while this image lingered in the background.  I stumbled upon it while taking a shortcut back to the show after a picture taking venture downtown.  It was truly like taking a step back in time.
